that was sonic boom from the space shuttle re-entry

double tap on the ground, entry at mach 2.

2x the speed of sound

USGS website doesnt differentiate on their sensor equipment.

They just tell you what the sensors read. I doubt it was fault activity seeing at the was the exact time the Space shuttle entered the lower part of the stratosphere

Oh and btw I had just finished doing duce at that point

the shuttle came in from the south thru SD. the IE. high desert aka victorville/apple valley then made a turn and headed in to edwards AFB.

Yeah, I live about 20 miles from it, so it woke both me and my Fiancee up. I dunno, I kinda wanted it to be bigger. :P I mean if it's gonna wake me up, might as well be worth my while right?

The 4.7 was only at depth of 1.6miles, I would think it would be alittle bit smaller magnitude Considering the depth , The after shock was 6.3 miles under crust surface( I know one of you guys is going to make fun of this line.) I'm just waiting for the big wave.
