Alright guys, so I feel real stupid asking this but I cannot figure this out for the life of me. I just did my first clutch swap on my KA and I am completely done with the project but I have one thin black hose left over. I figured out that one end goes infront of the shifter, but I can't figure out the other end. I've done alot of searching and it appears to go above the starter hump, but I cannot find any connections. So, am I just not seeing the connection because the tranny is already back in the car, or does this line not actually connect to anything, as in, it is simply an open line to circulate air?
The hose end in question, has a gold clip on it, that reroutes the line in the shape of a "U". I circled the clip in this picture, but I can't tell if it is actually connected.

Again, sorry for the stupid question, but I just don't want to assume something and end up with a problem. THANKS!

It hooks into one of the bolts that has a U shaped thing on it. I just left mine off.

Yeah i figured that out, but what does the other end of the U shaped thing hook to? If it can be left off, then I will... I just wanna make sure im not spuing tranny fluid when i turn, haha.

it goes like on one of the first bolts clockwise...like 1-o-clock

my U shaped bend on the hose had nothing on the other end. I think it's just a tranny breather and the bend keeps it from getting contaminated.
