no, if you had a s14 jdm cluster I imagine you have a s14. And considering you have a s14 in your signature it agrees to me to make more sense. You can just replace the speedo with the stock one by the 4 bolts in the back of the cluster.

Your reading is the absolute suck. His question is has anyone learned how recalibrate the JDM speedometer to read in MPH. No one said anything about how to swap US -> JDM or vice versa.

there is a writeup somewhere
basically in S13 you add resistor, but S14 uses soldered switches. you remove two connections and solder another.
I know its out there and its easy to do.

i did mine but i have a 98 s14 works great i think i got the write up from freshalloy. it's easier than the s13 you dont need a resistor. there are points you have to solder and desolder, thats all i remember.

i did it myself on a few 180sx clusters, ones in my car, and they work great. really easy mod
