Is it actually necessary? Reason i ask is because i have a Blitz BOV on the car right now, everything runs ok. Now, i'm going to be installing my FMIC kit this weekend and in order to now weld my Blitz onto the pipe, i can use the sectional pipe off the cold pipe to put the BOV on. I would en up capping the section on the intake hose where the CBV was recirculating the air back in. So to me it seems like i'm running to forms of valves (a recirc'ed and atmospheric), my buddy with his S14 told me he doesn't even have a CBV. Any input would help. thanks.

Yes and no...The SR ECU is pretty tricky because it will dump fuel into the engine depending on how much air the MAF senses. When the stock bov or any bov vented to atmosphere, theres less air going in the engine than what the ECU saw and will cause the car to bog. It all depends on the type of BOV your running. HKS SSQ are popular because of the way it releases pressure. It doesnt dump the air as fast, gives the ecu enough time to recover.
All I can say is run the Blitz BOV open air just to see if itll bog, if it does, recirculate it back to the intake tract.
or
Eliminate the maf by going map....Power FC is your friend...

You are everywhere!!!!!! hahaha.. yeah, so.. don't have the funds for a PFC at the moment.. So i'm gunna check to see how the car runs by blocking out that stock CBV. I remember on my redtop, i was running a Greddy type S with no probs.. Maybe the Blacktops are little more sensative.. who knows.
