2 small problems redtop sr

first problem, when im sitting at idle the car tends to want to die. sometimes it will just drop rpms them come back up and hold then do agian and sometimes it will completely shut off. the car has been running for a year and never done this.

second, when accelerating at a constant speed (not flooring it) it has hesitation . it will jerk a little as if you were tapping the throttle unless you press in the clutch pedal or give it more gas. also does this cruising at a steady speed sometimes as well but if i were to give it 100% throttle there is no hesitation.

what could be the problems? or problem. thanks.

check you MAF, and MAF wiring.

The idle issue, try to clean out the AICV. For the hesitation, check the plugs, and maybe replace the fuel filter too.

That's only gonna affect the rpm's under boost. You boost come to a stop and your car drops rpm's or dies. You need to recirculate or try and adjust the bov. His problem is something else.

Vacuum leak and or possibly knock sensor.

i had the same exact problem... im trying to remember what i did to solve it but honestly i believe it worked itself out and just stopped. if i can remember ill let you know
