Bushings

I think its time to replace the OEM bushing with something a little more performance minded.  This comes about because I just blew a tension rod bushing.  I like the Whiteline bushings, but they have to pressed in.

Meanwhile, I was looking to get either the ST sway bars or the Whiteline sway bars.  These will come with their own poly bushings.

So, my question is...should I get the remaining set of Whiteline bushings or go with the Energy Suspension kit?

I need bushings but I don't know where to begin.  Suggestions and experienced insight are certainly appreciated and valued.

most of the Whiteline bushings do NOT need to be pressed in.  The rears are two piece actually...you can do it by hand (if you're strong) or with a bench vise.  And the difference between Whiteline and ST or Energy is probably nil.  It's just a piece of urethane replacing the OEM rubber.  Pretty much the simplest design possible.  

The Whiteline bars come with bushings.  ST do not.  And Whiteline are adjustable.  ST are not.  And Whiteline fit with N1 dual.  ST do not.

I agree with Eric.  

Whiteline offers eccentric bushings for the rear to correct camber, but not not have a front lower control arm bushing.  If you want all-out race car performance I can give you the name of a guy who will replace all of your poly/rubber bushings with spherical bearings.  It is costly but can't be beat for racing/handling application.  Probably not a good idea on a street car.

The hardest part is getting the stock ones out.  Pushing the new ones in is the easy part.

I have a set of whiteline swaybars on my S14. They work well, but the included endlinks leave something to be desired.

No idea.  Sorry.

If you get the "Works" kit, that comes with the bushings, but it comes with shocks and springs too.  I believe the "Handling Pack" is swaybars and a bunch of bushings.  Go to www.whiteline.com.au and check out the site.  All kinds of good info.  You can order direct...that's what I did.  Saved tons.

Lower Control Arm bushings
Tension Control Rod bushings (you did already?)
All the rear link bushings
Subframe bushings are a maybe...but subframe spacers are a great idea.

Adjustable is a great idea.  You can set it up how you like it.  But yes, you will probably set-and-forget once it's how you like it.

Not really.  I am a Whiteline lover.

I would go with the Whiteline stuff (I did!<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>. &nbsp;Call Don at PDM-Racing.com &nbsp;He will get you hooked up and he is very knowledgeable about what you will need. &nbsp;

The adjustable sway bars are nice, why not get them the cost is about the same.

There really is not many other solutions other than JDM &nbsp;stuff, but I don't think it would be worth the money.

Are you saying Whiteline doesn't have an eccentric LCA bushing, or they don't have LCA bushings at all? &nbsp;If it's the latter my LCA will disagrre with you since it has a whiteline LCA poly bushing in it right now. &nbsp;If it's the former I think you are right though I never looked for one.

I am/was not aware of a whiteline bushing for the front lower control arm (S14), eccentric or not. &nbsp;If there is, great! &nbsp;I need to order a pair! &nbsp;I am going to check!
