Yes, I just said that, don't like it? Well deal with it. :bigok:
I know theres origin 30mm rear overs but is there anything less than that? :keke:
I'm lame and I can't pull off Z-T approved 18x12 -49.3 wheels, I know my life sucks just shoot me... :hsdance:
So for the main purpose of being lazy and not wanting to fix QP damage, are there any bandaids in the less than 30mm form?:naughty:
Oh and I overused emoticons in this post too, deal with that as well. :fawk2:

Well, first off.. This is Zilvia.net, so Z-T standards don't necessarily apply. :keke:
Second, from my understanding, you can "tweak" the overfenders while mounting them to gain more clearance, so I would assume you could do the same to get less clearance. :hammer:
Normally I would just suggest a good pull if you don't want big overfenders, but I noticed you mentioned quarter panel damage. :(
Hopefully someone will chime in to reinforce or correct my comments about "adjusting" fiberglass overfenders.
Extra smilies added just for you. :rawk:

Me
Yes push it in, it goes to like 20mm maybe less if you want, but its easy, heat it up if you want.

Could you put the wheel on then put the overfenders on, and push them in until they are like completely flush with your current camber settings?
Question for Kidynomite or others who know.
Also, you push them in with your hands right?

Your hands will work, but you should really rent a JDM Elephant to push it properly.

I bet those are expensive to ship. :fawkd:
I happen to have a JDM elephant for sale right now :D

Yes to all. You're supposed to fit fenders around your wheel setup, not the other way around. Chmercer had a good write up a while back.

Yes you can just mount your wheels, and push in. Have someone hold the fender in place, place in a rivet one by one just checking to see if its all lined up. Its easy.

fender roller/heat gun/touch up paint are your best friend.

if it is to fix qp damage, cut out a metal quarter panel from the junkyard and rivet/weld that on.

Wait, forgot one more question.
How can you have really nice wheel fitment in front with fiberglass fenders, and not get that little notch in the fender from driving aggressively.

you realize you have to rivet your overfenders on anyways right?
and maybe even mold them.
whats the difference?
you have to cut them off a car?
its also around $200 cheaper.

Yeah, I understand that I have to attach the overfenders to the body, but its alot easier to rivet stuff on than to drill out a shitton of spot welds twice and then reweld a qp back on and make sure it comes out right.

He was telling you to rivet on the new fender like you would the overfender. Just cut out the bad spots and rivet away. :keke:
Yeah that's not the stupidest way of repairing qp damage I've ever heard
You need to cut, weld, grind and smooth to do it w/ metal and it MIGHT come out the same as before

you mean, cut, drill, rivet?
unless you wanna mold them in all pretty i guess...
