i have an auto ka24de 92 fastback, im swapping my 5 speed into it. do i need to use the dash harness and manual ecu from my old 5 speed?
i read the right up and i didn't see anything about swaping ecu's or the dash harness or any harness (besides the 5speed trany harness.
so do i need to re wire behind the dash? and pu the 5 speed ecu in?

no you don't have to change the harness under the dash. like person said above, just plug 5spd ecu in. you also don't have to change the ecu. my car is also a 92 hatch, originally auto, and it's now 5spd and i'm still using the auto ecu.

isn't there any wiring plugs to plug into the clutch pedal? like a shift lock?
because in the rite up it says to un-plug the green box then plug it back in?? but that box is mounted to where the clutch is going in about 4 hours..

That green box is the door chimer IIRC... just unplug it, unbolt it, put it somewhere else and plug it back in.

Nope. Green box is the shiftlock control unit, no longer needed in a manual car. Remove and discard, unless you have a convertible. You have to keep it in to operate the power top unless it's bypassed elsewhere.
