Tension rod bushing.

Hey do I have to remove the strut for any reason before i take off the 3 17mm bolts off the tension rod to remove that so i can replace the bushing?

So I can jack the car up unbolt it and blah blah blah without having to worry about some part going boing and i am fucked without no spring compressor lol?

the tension rod doesnt have anything to do with the struts. It bolts to the lower control arm and then another bolt to that front crossmember brace. Just take the 2 nuts and that one bolt out and you are good.
