I'm not the smartest guy when it comes to tires lol. But I'm trying to get some opinions on what is the best fitment and would be the least amount of rolling fenders. The car is a S13 Coupe. Thanks.:rawk:

you'll need to roll the fenders for sure.

tires I have on my 17x8 and 17x9 wheels are 225/45/17 for the front and 255/40/17 for the rear. Height wise, those tires will be fine, however, your offset is too low for the S13 fenders. You'll either have mad negative camber, or the wheels will stick out :)

215/40 on the 8
225/40 on the 9

this is right or of you want more streched tires 205 f and 215 rear.
215's on a 9j wheel.

just do 225/45 all around for simplicity. With just a minor roll and that offset you have in the rear, I doubt youll be able to fit anything bigger than that. with my 17x9 =20's all around, i could barely run 245's in the rear with a minor roll. What looked the best on my set up was 235's all around. Now i have 225's, and it still looks pretty good.

p.s. ^^^ it says 225/45's on the tire mounted on the FNO1RC, not 215.

Depends on teh purpose of the wheels. And whether you wanna run stretched tires or not. If you dont want to stretch a tire you can rock some 245 for the rears and maybe 235 in front. Stretch would be 215 in front, 225 in rear.

I appreciate all the replies guys...The car will be a daily/ weekend drifter. However, I plan to switch to 16's on the rears (S14 SE's or Turbo 300 Z32's) for drifting. As far as madd stretching goes is it safe to run stretched on the front for drifting? I have heard in some cases that stretched tires up front while drifting can cause the tire to come off the wheel...Anyone have input regarding this? Thanks.
