is there any gain with replacing the stock on with an aftermarket one? if not what is the point?

Well I'm not quite sure what you mean by "intake BREATHER" .  What exactly are you talkn about, something like a CAI?  Well Injun makes one for the 240sx and many people have them on here.  Try doing a search for what you are looking for.

I see from your sig that you have a K&N.  Is that what your talkn about?  Do you have a cone or drop-in filter?  Either way nothing too big in performance.

are you talking about engine breathers (aka air ducts)? &nbsp;Those will increase the air flow into your engine, they are pretty cool... im going to get it just for as a dress-up item... it looks cool and makes a phhiiiii noise that sounds pretty cool.. they're cute! but you might have to turn up the idle a little bit, because of the increased air flow!

you mean a breather FILTER? the little filters you buy for your engine? i don't think you need one unless you replace your airbox with an open element... that's how it was with my lebaron.
