i was just wondering what it was and if it helped by removing it?  if so how do u do it? i saw a few people that have removed intake resonator in their mod lists.  (i used search and there was nothing)

The intake resonator is a box with 2 or 3 chambers that muffles the intake to quiet it down. Yes, by removing it, it will give an increase in HP due to no longer having to go through any chambers to receive air. Yes it will also be louder, but so will any or intake! Cheap mod that works even better with a K&N stock drop in filter. I don't know what kind of HP numbers this will give you, but on my Honda, it gave me an increase of 7hp dyno'd to the wheels. You'll have to remove the driver front whee and remove the splash shield. It may have a couple of bolts holding it in place, but those should be easily accessable.

Im trying to do this now.... but the piece of my wheel well wont come off. &nbsp;I see the 2 screws that hold it in, but they just keep turning and turning, they arent coming out. &nbsp;how do i do it?

Ill take a pic of the removed part in the morning for all to see.... ill also take a pic of the front of the air box so you can see whats missing...
