Hey everyone,
this may seem kinda newbie but i want to be sure haha...ive had 2 s13's already and all of them had this issue to some extent. I'm also about to buy my 3rd one and it has this problem. about 6 inches in from the jacking points (the little edge/lip thing) is the frame bars/rails whatever you want to call them and ive noticed a lot of 240s have them pushed up into the bottom of the car from bottoming out or jacking up the car from there. Is this a big deal? is structural integrity lost? My friend is making me trip out over it.

no it does not damage the structural integrity on a great enough scale to matter

The only things that will be of any concern, when removing the fenders
(it will be a pain too remove the bolts) ,and or miss alignment of the body lines..tell ur buddy too chill and lay off the rice..that wont make a car salvage...just my two cents...:keke:

If you take a pair of pliers and pull on that lip, it will be straight again. (If you dont the car will drive sideways.)

its more aerodynamic and will have better ground clearance if they're pushed up though :keke:

the lip isnt the thing thats pushed up....the frame rails are pushed up
the parts that are about 6 inches farther IN towards the driveshaft on both sides of the car...they go from the back to the front...they look like the chasis/frame

The S13's have specific "jacking points." There are reinforced places where you have the circles. Whoever had that car before you obviously didnt give a crap about that though...But I think it might still be fine. I'm pretty sure the parts that aren't reinforced are hollow, which causes it to collapse when all the weight is loaded there.

ya good point...it is hollow so therefore weak...its 6inches horizontally in towards the driveshaft...not pushed 6inches

well my last car (white one) i slid of sand canyon and landed on a bolder, well it smashed in my frame rail..it was almost completely flat and pushed in way more than that frame on that car in the pic..it didnt hurt my cars peformance..just made it drift easier...lol lol
