Do you think if I make my car nice... s15 front end conversion, advan rims, turbo, and maybe new color... it will get stolen? This is what some of my friends are saying... do you believe this, is there like an alarm system, that could stop this... low jack? what is that about....

Does like only one half of your brain work? Man what kind of question is this.
A: You know like all others that having a nice cars puts you at risk of it getting stolen, especially when you post all your mods and address whenever you go to a site/forum... thats the price you pay for showing off.
B: Alarms are part of a everyday thing in this world... I mean hit any electronics mag and you will see shit about alarms.. especially stereo mags...
Man I hate being an ass but you have been on here long enough to think twice before posting. Do a little searching.... cool?

Things to help prevent from getting jacked.
Garage the beast
Club along with brake club
Steering wheel hub that detachs(keep old one so when you get your inspections done)
Quality alarm
There are other ways but if you have the basics thats enough to push away most thieves.... I dought your car will ever be nice enough for some one to come grease your tires up and push it on a flat bed.

2 possible variations:
A. You are not rich. Then i wouldn't worry. All that stuff would run you around ummm 10 grand? So i'd say before you get all that stuff done to your car, a lot of things might change.
B. You are rich. Then you prolly have enough money to put a top of the line alarm in you car for like a grand or something <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

1. Stop telling people what your doing to your car
2. Dont go around with reving your engine with a loud bov
3. Get a quality alarm
4. Get a kill switch
5. Never tell people "My car cant be stolen because its got..."
6. When going to questionable places convince your friend to drive
7. Get a set of wheel locks (people on this board hane shown pictures of there cars on blocks
8. get an autolock (the thin already suggested to go under the pedal) and put it under the clutch, if auto - the brake and if its stick, and you feel so inclined under the clutch and the brake.
9. Dont tell people what your doing to your car

that should be good for preventing theft

of and if you bring it to your insurance company and let them document the work you will able to get compensated - youll get raped dry with the rates - but youll get the money back

There's a chance you car can get stolen no matter what it is, but the best thing to do is not worry to much about it. &nbsp;The more you worry the more likely it can happen....I know from a certain friend of mine. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh:'> &nbsp; Anyways you can keep stuff about your car on the DL (basically keep it to yourself) get yourself a good alarm that has start kill, quiet alarm engage, &nbsp;and a pager. &nbsp;Oh yea also get wheels locks, since you'll be riding on some very expensive rims. &nbsp;Don't show off your car by telling people what you have and blasting your music real loud....that's how one friend of mine got his headunit and subs jacked....from a school parking lot.

if ur telling ppl wat u got or gonna do..they gonna stalk ur ass till ur away...i suggest u dont do wat ppl said..about bumpin ur system..revving ur engine so ur BOV goes off..but yea..u may have that club for the brake..but they might not be able to take ur car..but they can still pop the hood and take other shit..boost controller, guages etc..the club for steering wheel will do nothing..they will juss cut ur steering wheel..best alarm i know of is the lowjack..where it has a beacon or watever..ur car get jacked..call them..they will find it..juss dont show off

yup. thats his FD. that was 5 years ago. he sold it to the insurance company....the only way he knew it was his car was they left his metallica tape in the pos tape deck. the interior is gone too. if u look close u can tell those are frst gen seats in the car. also they swaped off his rims and put better, nicer fd rims on
