Now don't go getting excited, all the people that have been here for a while know that i'm not going to do this anytime soon,:) but what should I be looking for as far as compression goes? I've read at least one person going to about 11.5:1. Does that sound good? Also, what kind of work should I be doing on the head/valves/rockers etc. to take advantage of the raise in compression?
And last but not least, the most obvious question... what kind of gains should I be getting from all of this work?

here is my n/a 240sx project....which i probubly will never do.....all on 93 octan of course
engine:
12.5 cr Je pistons
head work(not milled)
metal head gasket
all arp bolts
total seal piston ring
bronze valve guilds
now this is the stuff u can get off crower..they make these things for any car.
s.s connection rods
s.s. valves
cams
valve springs
and al course all the fuel and ingnition goodies......also...the reason i never would mill the head when u do head work is that it's a stupid way 2 get cr.....cuz it changes the angle of the valves.....:P

The 244hp carbed KA24E that surfaced in the 240 community a while back runs 9.5:1 compression.
If you are serious about this build up you may want to call up Rebello or Sunbelt and talk to the guys there. They have been building Nissan racing engines for years, they would be the experts in this field.

Actually, i've heard of sunbelt. I've been looking for a website or a phone number for quite some time. You wouldn't have any contact information would you?
