I had problems yesterday with my car, the car is not starting. I noticed that each time I turned the key to start the car, my clock is resetting to "1:00" and the alarm goes on. I charged the battery for about 30-45 minutes and tried again. The engine was cranking but I was not able to make it start. After that try, same thing happenned, no more juice, clock reset. My battery might be dead but even charged, the car won't start. Only thing I did that morning was to replace my bulb lights(front) and started the car twice after that without a problem. I did hand wash some area of my engine bay with a small towel afterward(semi yet, almost dry, only to remove some dust). Few hours later when I wanted to go out, the problem appeared. I also checked my fuse and everything seems to be in order. I also hear a funny noise coming from the bottom left of the steering rack once I stop turning the key. Maybe a wire somewhere ? A plug ? Battery ? Alternator ? Anyone have an idea ?

Well, the only thing I did was to disconnect my battery (+ and -), reconnect it and car worked like a charm...
