dang projectdrifter, where do you have room for that thing? ya buncha crazies...although, ill admit ive always wanted a komodo dragon...and a hyena...and an african wild dog...and pirhanas...lol...
they only eat small rodents like once every two weeks...thats all it needs, they dont eat unless if theyre hungry...as for your lil bro or kids, afaik, boas dont bite, they constrict...muahahahaha >=)

yes it comes with everything you need. very easy to take care of. just change the bedding every month or so to keep clean. spray water to keep humidity up. cold clean water couple times a week. eats live rat/mice. and no it wont bite unless you put your hand in the tank and move it around after dropping in the rat/mice.
DAMN YOU THREAD JACKERS! ha

snakes are probably the easiest animal to own. regular feeding every once in a while change beading. clean cage while your at it. do u feed it live or dead?
keeping a regular humidity and temp is a very important thing in my eyes.
regularly handling is also a big plus. checking 4 mits or nicks/scratches where infection can fester.
i have had a rat bite my snake and infect it before. so watching it during the feeding can be critial as well. soaking it in shed aid can soften the skin for easier more full sheds.
using a dark light can also change its attitude as well. keeping a regular nigh/day cycle.
just a few tips 4 fellow reptile lovers
looks to be a good buy and good price. i don't see any burn spots so it dosnt sit on a heat rock. i am happy to see that

wait, are snakes really that susceptible to infections? i always thought you just toss it in the tank and let it chill worry free considering it can survive in the wild just fine...so do ppl let it crawl around outside to "toughen" it up and not let it be a wussy house snake? lol...i would have never guessed you have to keep such stringent checks on an animals health that places pretty high in the food chain...
anywho, bump for keeeeeewl amimalzzzzzzzzzz!

99% of everything you said..i do ha. yeah i have a heatpad on the side of the glass so it doesn't burn the snake. snake is active and whatnot. i feed it live rats.
sw20 - ha. i think it goes for any pet/animal. you gotta give it what it needs. if the snake gets biten by the rat..it can cause infection(lucky its never happened). if you dont clean bedding and whatnot..it can make a nice house for mites which is not a good thing. i handle it 2 times a week or so. i let it crawl around my room and whatnot, it likes to explore. gotta keep it healthy.

defiantly a great starter snake than. glad 2 see a reptile owner informed to many people own them thinking put it in a cage and leave it. i have owned a few red tail boas, ball pythons, blood pythons, albino berm(above) a few monitors(not such a fun animal to own lol) i want another snake probably a tree boa. well ill give a bump 4 a good reptile/owner. if your local and interested take a look at the setup its a great platform.

omg... I miss having a snake. Had a royal/ball as well. Though I didn't have it as long and no where near that length.
I'm curious to know why you kept it on live food?
