Ok since im stumped as hell i figured i'd see if you guys have any ideas, the car is a 93 with an auto to manual swap. Here are my symptoms:

-buzzing brake warning light on the dash
-wipers move really slow
- use of any electrical item such as head lights, fan, and especially stepping on the brakes (brake lights) causes a drop in rpm at idle sometimes to the point where the engine stalls.
- started it up and took it for a ride around the block today, but then when i tried to start it again 5 minutes later the starter gears teeth would just grind against the flywheel's

Now, this would lead me to believe that either the alternator or battery is dead, but the alternator, battery, and ground cable were all replaced when i did the transmission swap about 6k miles ago. I also checked all the connectors/connections around the alternator and ignition coil and everything seemed ok. suggestions?
