i broke my car

i was trying to put my head unit from my mirage into the s14 i just bought 12 hours ago... and i couldnt figure out how to get the stock one out.  so i figure, "hey this plastic piece probably just pops off" so i take a screwdriver and try, and bam, a piece of plastic breaks off and hits me in the cheek.  my question is...... how do i get that piece out, so i can get the stock head unit out? i have the vents out, but i dont wanna break my poor car.  


btw..... its a 96 black SE with 80K miles.  couple of door dings and scratches, and a loose spoiler with rusty bolts, but it runs great and is clean.

you have to pop pop off the plastic surrounding around the shifter and take out the ashtray. Then you shall see screws on the bottom, unscrew those. Then you have to pull off the peice that goes around the A/C vents on the top and you shall see more screws and then that should be set from there.
