Ok so I found something new wrong with my car.
Driving it today, it was a pretty hot day around 20 degrees out, seemed fine during my 20 minute drive from deerfoot, no overheating or anything, get home talk to a buddy for a bit and next time i look as i pull in my temp gauge on my dash is off the charts. Turn car off and look under it and there is coolant dripping, but the overflow tank is full and rad is full as well. As the engine cools, overflow slowly drains to near empty as the coolent cools and condenses. After it is cool I look at all the hoses in front and sides, no leaks, only possiblity is a hose in the back of the engine or headgasket? Do those sound like possiblities, could the headgasket leak like that? I'm just stumped and looking for some leads
Thanks for the help
ALso... After checking and topping overflow up i drive it for 20 minutes, no problems whatsoever, I even raced a mustang GT and a civic SI on seperate occcasions to push it and see if anything happens,
[email protected] WTF!!
(thanks again)

possible your overflow tank is cracked on the bottom side...if its an s13, its bound to happen to you sooner or later. where the coolant dripping from? wheel well? off the engine?

It seems to be dripping inbetween the back of the engine and the firewall!! I can see a bit of stuff running down and dripping offthe front of my transmission, but other than that it had dried up! I'm sure my overflow tank has not cracked, but thanks for the idea!

Your coolant lines rerouted behind the head may be leaking.

ah yes, the impossible to get too heatrer hose loop...sucks if its those, but not as bad as a headgasket replacement!
You'd know if your headgasket was blown if its leaking that much coolant...it would've locked up the motor by now (hydro-lock), rough idle/missfire while driving, or at least had tons of compression bubbles coming up in the radiator/overflow tank.

one of the heater hose lines, or a coolant line for the turbo.

Did you do the sr swap yourself or did someone else do it? The heater hose on the back of the engine has to be rerouted to the right side. When I did my first swap I used cheap couplers and it started to leak. So I had to pull the engine out a little to get to em. They are close to impossible to get to while the engine is in the car.

I had a similar problem that i thought was a heater hose as well, but it turned out to be a freeze plug that popped on the back of the head.

I had a problem of my heater hoses leaking. And its a bitch so if that is your problem get ready to have some hurting hands. If you cant get your hand back there try taking off the valve cover, it helped me out.
Good luck
