ok, I bought a ka24de as a backup engine. I have an engine stand to put in on, but I don't have any tranny bolts to put it on the stand. I need to know the size of the tranny bolts, so I can buy some at the local hardware store. Can someone help a brotha out?

DO NOT BUY HARDWARE STORE BOLTS!!!
Go to the dealer or post a proper Want to buy thread in the necessary section here

I didn't think somebody would be selling just ka24de tranny bolts lol, that's wny I did not post a WTB thread. I was just trying to figure out what the correct size was for these tranny bolts. What's wrong with buying bolts from a hardware store? If they're strong enough, they're strong enough correct?

I know 2 people on this very forum who are basically making a living parting cars out, I am willing to bet that they have a few, probably several of them laying around, real talk
I do not trust a corner hardware store to stock bolts that are up to the task of automotive bolts.
Go cheap and do it twice, you'll learn the hard way.

don't want to do it twice. I'll post a wtb thread now, but I still would like to know the correct size:)

M10 x 1.5

Length is whatever works for you. My engine is held on the stand with bolts from Home Depot, no problems here. Better to be safe than sorry though!

What he said, M10x1.5. Buy long bolts and use spacers to line it up as needed.
