I JUST BOUGH THIS MOTOR!!!!!!!!!! REPLACING THE WHOLE TURBO WAS NOT EXACTLY MY FIRST PLAN!!!!!!!!

oil in the pipes? u have oil in ur intake pipe? excessive blow-by will cause this. get an oil catch can.

well we started it for the first time with duct-tape over the blow off valve flange......... thats when we noticed it, didnt check the intake, will do today
what is your engine compression? If compression is ok, your probably have a bad seal in your turbo.

do a leakdown test...
excessive blow by may be fixed by catch can
if it's bad piston rings,.. well, it's rebuild time...

How much. If there is a little residue then I wouldn't worry too much.
But if you have like a pool of oil then you have blowby.
Your car should have a oem catch can. Check to see if it is full.

atleast you dont have a quart of water collecting in your fmic from a bad boost coupling like i did;-). leak down test like mentioned before.. also.. just clean up the pipes, pop them back open in a while and see how everything is. if its a t25.. you can have it rebuilt, or rebuild it yourself for $70 odd dollars.
