R & L Engine mount brackets the same?

Are the right and left engine mount brackets the same?...

I dropped my motor in except the tranny bracket won't line up... The tranny is leaning towards the driver side...

I was thinking that maybe I put the wrong engine bracket on the wrong side and that is why it's not lining up...

we ran into the same problem last week with a friends motor swaping the engine mounts around fixed it so im thinking for sure they are slightly different

The brackets are different, so much so that they can't be confused with each other. That's not the problem.

Is the engine sitting dead flat on both mounts?

the engine mounts are different too but not noticable
i was taling about the mounts them selves

No, the drivers side has a little gap... Let me tighten that up to see if that helps...

I'm running the JGS tools solid engine and tranny mounts... Those things have no slack at all...
