transmission bearing

hey guys.. i blew the rear sr20 tranny bearing where the drive shaft slides in. are the ka and sr bearing the same by any chance? $20 for a new bearing, or $350 for another transmission.. lol. some one help me quick :)

I remember they are different. Might need to look at another tranny. Anyone back me up on this

if i'm not mistaken, a KA transmission will bolt up to the SR bell housing with little or no modification.

Yup. I would just need to switch the bellhousings.. the problem is.. s13 has 2 sensors on/for the tranny, s14 has 3 sensors on/for the tranny. S14 has extra reverse sensor. does anyone know how to splice these up properly???
shit. that bearing is soooo cheap.. so much cheaper than a new tranny..
