So I just finished a sr20 swap in my 1993 240sx. Its pretty stock right now but I wanna get into drifting. As I finished the swap, I drove the car around the block and i noticed that the power steering was shot. So I decided to just take it out cuz my other cars had no power steering and I did just fine. Ok long story short, is it easer to drift with power steering or without? or do u need it to drift?

you do not NEED it to drift, but a 240sx is not a light car. Most corolla drivers rock no powersteering but then again their car is WAY lighter. My friend slids with no power steering but its all prefreence. IMO i would defently have it.

Some people like to take the PS out so they get a better feeling of the car, but most leave it in for the ease of steering.

Personally I wouldn't drift without it, I didn't even like it when it was off on the Corollas I've driven. But I suck so who cares.

You don't need to break the motor in. It's STOCK and USED.

hmmmm really... i guess its just my paranoia acting up. fuck it, test drifting is #1 on my "to do" list once i get out of work, thanx again guys
