i bought Bad Religion's CD "Process of Belief". its pretty good if u are into punk rock sort of stuff, i like it alot. i also bought Lenny Kravitz's Greatest Hits. its pretty good too, especially for long trips, its good driving music. just put the CD in and let it play. cool stuff! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

ah, good cd's....
all four Cake albums are good for long drives. specifically Prolonging the Magic.
The Crystal Method- Vegas: great album, plenty of bass, nice beats. you've priobably heard most of the songs before. Tweekend's pretty good, too, but i'm not a big fan of Community Service....
BT- Movement in Still Life is a decent album, too. i don't think it has the straight-thru listen-ability as a good TCM album, but... stil decent.

i must concur with regard to Vegas, it keeps me going a steady speed on a long trip
but when i need a little more speed (running late) GodSmack hops in, or linkin park, or some old school metallica
remember, though that best test of any sound system is still some bach

PROCESS OF BELIEF KICKS ASS. That CD is awesome. I just saw bad religion at warped tour a couple weeks ago.
Rancid and Millencolin are good punk bands too.

I just bought Alkilline Trio "From Here to Infirmary" that is my pick of the week. I also got the new GlassJaw and Coheed and Cambria all good stuff. I still think that "Against the Grain" is Bad Religion's best album.

alkaline trio is amazing. 'from here to infirmary' is good but nothing can match 'maybe i'll catch fire'. such a great album. bad religion was great at warped, but they were beat by andrew w.k. in fun factor and stage presence. anybody listen to ska? My band - The Post-Its (http://www.thepost-its.com) we just played our first major gig yesterday. we got $500 to play in this park for 'pack the park' night or whatever. it was hella fun. check us out. if anyone is interested email me and i'll send you our CD when we finish recording. woohoo punk rock kids on zilvia.

I used to be big on ska then the scene just completely died in my area and bands never came around anymore <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>
Saw bad religion on the last warp tour they were what I expected, uuninja is right, their older stuff is the best.
EDIT: I used to have a jacket just like this one <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>

Suffer or generator is by far the best BR albums... OOO I have seen them 3 times... its been awhile... but BR is not the best punk bang.. check out black flag, Uk subs, youth of today, nofx, screw 32, avail, Gorilla Biscuits, bratmobile, babyland.
Ska muhahaha used to be into that a long time ago too.. still will listen to it sometimes though.. good ska = aquabats .. oooo check out Kemuri sometime, there way cool and lets see who else do I remember.. Blue meanies where good.
Now I just try to listen to stuff with out words... being classical, trance, house or ambiant... I just want something that makes my brain flow but dont have to worry about words.

My old band opened for Screw32 back before they broke up. damn that was almost 6 years ago. I am getting old. I like Generator better than than Suffer. Though Against the grain is still my fave.
damn if any one in the DC area wants to rock out send me a PM <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> I need to play more often.
