View Full Version : Do Nissan dealerships have used car tests?

Like a 50 point test etc to see if the car is in good condition? I was owndering how muc they charge to check out a car you want to buy but I cant seem to get in contact with them(no one answered the phone).

Well i figured id contact the one where i was going to go but its about 100 miles from here. I wanted to do a compression test as well but ive never done one myself.

easy peazy.
buy a compression tester, thread it into spark plug hole, test compression on each cyl.

I hear what your saying but I've never really worked on cars before...I know the theory behind installing various things but I don't trust myself.

well when you get a hold of them, tell them what you want done and try to be specific; more than likely the will charge you by the hour. i work for a dealership group and all of our service departments charge about 100 per hour, including nissan....im not too sure how much the price is in your area.

At $80/hr for labour, and possibly more in diagnostic fees, the dealership will raep you.

i work for a nissan dealer in fresno and yes we do safety inspections on cars runs about $50 to look over a car

Just got off the phone with the,...he said an 100 pt inspection is 59.99. Buttt I will have to hire a 3rd party since thats not available on Saturdays
