I just got a new set of megan track series coilovers for my s13 (but im a real noob to coilovers). So i know how to throw them on, but i dont know too much about setting them up so if someone can help me out with some adjustment specs and how to go about it with camber, ride hight, etc. Do i go get an alignment first them set them the way i want ? Some help would be great . Oh and im just on some basic 205 55 16. P.S i know i suck at typing yea red dots for it lol

I dont think people need coilovers that dont know why or how to use them

^Well yeah we all have to start somewhere, maybe you should have started with searching this forum as well as others to get as much info before you spent your money... As well as maybe you should go back and just take an auto class if you really can't figure out how to use your coils... Sorry to be so mean, but what you spent a pretty penny on some coils (that I dislike, but that might just be me) and you don't even know how to use them??

:wtf: is all I can say...

Well, I'm pretty sure more people could help if you put what you are planning to do with the car... DD, track, both?? That might help, also if you put whether or not you are trying to slam the car, just make it look lowered, or you just want to have coilovers on the car...

Do you have any adjustable suspension arms? To get them set up properly this is what you do. First put them on the car, then set the ride height to where you want it. By then you're alignment will be all outta whack. Figure out if you're gonna need any negative camber for wheel clearance, but I'm guessing not much if you're running 16's. Then take the car into a good alignment shop and tell them you want a 4 wheel alignment and that you're gonna need the camber adjusted to where ever you need it for clearance. After that you can play around with the dampening settings to find what you like the best. And enjoy!

Adjust ride height first, dampening doesnt effect alignment

1) adjust ride height...you can find stock ride height on the FSM

2) realize you have way too much negative camber from lowering your car

3) go get an alignment, only to be told by the mechanic that there is no room left to add positive camber

4) go buy aftermarket rear upper camber arms and install them

5) go back to said alignment shop, and have mechanic tell you that he can't work on them because they are aftermarket.

6) find another shop and get car properly aligned

*optional- you will probably want aftermarket toe arms too

You can skip all the bullshit if you just get RUCAs right away, put on your coilovers adjust ride height, then install RUCAs, then get alignment
