another sr20 problem

motor back exhaust ssautochrome

My car ran great, I hit a tree put it back together and now it runs like crap.
When first started up idles and drive good and after a while starts to miss and back fire when gas is given at a stop in neutral or in motion all the way through the rpms.

I have done the following
changed temp sensor
reset tps
checked maf
checked boost leaks
checked ground all good continuity

Just trying to get some more help on this problem. I dont know about the cam angle sensor if this is the problem or not. I also dont know if the ecu goes into some kind of safety feature that needs to be reset. Pretty much I am stumped if anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated.

I have also regapped all my plugs to .028

Mine did that when the bolts holding on the intake tube to the turbo came off. Just a small gap right after the MAFS was there but it made it enough to make my car not even drivable... That's probably not the problem but just check it.

i checked that out and everything is tight. no leaks. If anybody else has any ideas it would be great. I was told yesturday I put the wrong temp sensor in so I ordered a new one. I used it from a 91-94 sentra s-er I will see what happens and re post with any new info.

maybe its something really simple....perhaps when you hit the tree, you jarred losse a bunch of crap in the gask tank, and clogged the filter....would explain your symptoms....runs fine at first then starts bogging-missing.

or more likely he jarred some shotty wiring or crushed the loom or something where he hit the tree.
