Hi..

I Need Some Help And I Know A Lot Of You In Here Can Probably Help Me Out With This One..

I Was Driving On The Freeway Then My Car Was Overheating, So I Got Off The Freeway Then While I Was Exiting, The Engine Just Turned Off.. Then Wouldn't Turn Back On After That. The Starter Cranks, But The Engine Is Not Turning On..i Was Actually On My Way Home To Change My Radiator, But I Never Made It All The Way Home. Can Someone Please Help Me With This One? Someone Tell Me What It Might Be And What Might Have Happened And Why It Wouldn't Start Again.. What Needs To Be Changed And Stuff.. It's A 1989 240sx Fastback (ka24e) Anyone And Everyones Help Is Greatly Appreciated... Thanks For Looking!

Same thing happend to me only it was this past friday, when you turn your key and the motor is cranking over does it sound like any exhaust is being pushed out? If not then you are in the same position as I am. Your motor is ruined and you need to A.) Rebuild or B.) Get a new motor. I am SR swapping mine. The thing is it only over-heated after I turned on my A/C, not sure why.

do a compression test and if possible a leak down test to see if have any compression left, if you have solid compression then thats a good thing, if your compression is very low then its likely your head gasket is blown or worst case you engine is fried.

1.pull your plugs.
2.do a compression test
3.get new plugs
4.change oil and coolant/water is comp test seems ok.
(makes sure you hold the throttle plate open when cranking).
5. check back here.

You blow your headgasket and warped the head.
