Bump for a good seller and friend. This motor is great guys, i've ridin in this car several times over the past year or so and it gets faster and faster everytime because shane is always fucking with it. haha, but seriously whoever jumps on this deal (wish I had the money to) will be getting a race ready motor set with all of the kinks worked out so all you've gotta do is slap this pig in and rip. And to you auto guys looking to swap to manual it's an extra plus for you guys because you get that drive shaft and I believe the tranny brace and peak performance bushing as well, all you need is the clutch master and pedal assembly and your good. So if anyone need the parts I listed (clutch master, s13 clutch pedal assembly and if he doesn't throw it in the tranny brace) if you buy shane's setup i'll ship the parts to you to make your life that much easier. Good luck on the sale mang! L8Z

Thanks guys for all the great post. Who ever picks this up will have a kick-ass motor. I'm taking a loss on this but it's worth my loss to make someone happy and to have a rb25 monster!

The custom piping alone cost me 1200 bucks, the intercooler I got off ebay for 300 bucks. The quality of the kit is top notch. The shop who did the piping is Under Pressure Fabrication (714)890-5153. There is no cooling issues and the car has never overheated once. The key to this setup is good electric fans.

okay, now, i'm not saying your setup isn't very, very clean. but how is that even possible? there's like three feet of pipe there.

My original quote was 600 bucks but ended up twice that. Call the shop up and ask them. I'm not sponcered by them so I payed like anyone else. I should have mentioned that the 1200 bucks included install of the rad/intercooler (the whole setup w/brackets). Sorry for the mistake. The shop had to pull the rad anyway so I gave them the Visteon to put in place of the stock rad. You get what you pay for and I think the quality shows.

I got a ride in this car in the malibu canyons, it is fast as fuck and very reliable. I have known shane for years and never seen ANY problems. I have seen the motor when it was bone stock with the t25 and sidemount intercooler. shane babied this car since day one. Very nice guy who will even let you test drive the car in person. I can vouch for shane any day.

no clearance issues?
s13coupedrfter
06-11-2007, 03:47 PM
There's no clearance issues. The key is good fans to keep everything cool, the car has never overheated or detonated. This is a very reliable motorset.
