hey guys,
I am about to swap out my single ka engine and put in an sr20det in my 90 coupe, i was wondering if anyone can direct me to either an earlier/recent thread about a swap guide and tips to the install. any info would be appreciated.

I am pretty local to you if you are not confident about your swap:
You could outsource the wiring.
Troubleshooting
or the whole install.

yes, while i am a supporter of the search button, i am not of the flame. so search around, not because it will make it easier on the forum kings who sit at home all day and flame, but the fact that in searching, you learn alot more than you set out to find.
as for tips,
make sure you know who your buying from as a good seller
make sure you get a full swap with everything you need
make sure you have extra money lying around during the swap process as "shit happens"
when looking for a swap, dont try to save a few hundred dollars, get what you want
dont take the cheap way out, its always more expensive in the long run
cheap is not the same as a good deal
heavythrottle.com is your best freind as far as knowledge goes
dont be afraid to ask legitemate questions on the forums because getting yelled at online is not that bad, but messing up your investment is

Heavy throttles swap guide is probably the best one on the internet I've seen. Use it.

hey thnks for the info, maybe u can help me out on another issue i am having, i got as far as to transmission, the only thing that i need to do is take off the 8 bolts that connect the tranny and the drive shaft, the problem is that the sr tranny looks like it has a different drive shaft on it, do u know if i would need a new drive shaft from a later model 240 or do i have to have it custom made? Any info helps.

just swap the dust gaurd from ur ka trans,(tail end of the trans)should slip right in...

Your KA driveshaft should work just fine with your swap. If you're doing a 5spd. swap at the same time, on your car, then you'll have to find a 5spd. driveshaft front section. Your rear section will stay the same.
