There is a current fitment issue with the SPC s14 ruca.
Basically the 'hoop' on the RUCA is identical on both arms instead of being mirrored. Since it slopes, it will face upwards on one side of the car and downwards on the other. i.e. - it hits the frame on one side of the car.
Myself and a few others have been in touch with SPC and they are aware of the problem. They are developing a replacement RUCA.
In the meantime, save your cash.
I believe there are no problems with the s13 arms. (ugh)

i hear you. i just wanted to get mine to work.
my car isn't all that low and the arms had already done some clearancing themselves. i just folded up the seam a little more so they wouldn't hit as much. i installed coilovers with much stiffer springs since i put them on so they shouldn't hit at all now.

i suggest contacting spc anyway.
i spoke to them today and they are collecting names of affected customers, for what i hope to be a replacement program. the rep was very friendly and helpful. i don't think they are going to blow us off.
pc wiz also spoke to them and got an ETA on replacement arms. the person he spoke to said june 11th or 12th i believe. not sure if that'll happen, but i wouldn't be surprised since it takes take alot of engineers to just fab up the arm slightly differently.
plus, a free new arm would be nice, no? :D

yep - I'll second everything you said, except - they said 11th /12th the first shipment of new arms come in from production. Then they gotta QA them. After QA is over, customer service will contact me/us.

well, the first set of arms were probably built to spec, and that's what QA is for. the specs were just wrong.

update:
just got this from IAP, which is a SPC vendor
Hello Richard,
From what I understand, SPC has already come up with the redesign and they are in production. I have contacted the president of the company and am waiting on a reply. As soon as I receive an ETA, I will contact you immediately. I apologize for the mistake on their part and assure you they are taking the appropriate steps to correct the issue.
Sincerely,
-Peter Awad

in case you havent noticed my about 400 posts in the fashion thread i really dont are about cars right now. sorry
but why would you buy thoes they dont even have ball joints. whatever

that's the point. all metal ball joints change your class in SCCA. you need these to stay in street touring. otherwise you'll get bumped to prepared or modified (not sure which).

that's the main reason
the other reason is i drive my car through northeast winters. snow and salt plays better with rubber than with metal
