Donate Food, Get Free Burrito
Hunger Awareness Day Is Tuesday, June 5
DENVER -- Denver's 7, Chipotle Mexican Grill and the Colorado Food Bank Association have teamed up to help eradicate hunger in Colorado.
On Hunger Awareness Day, Tuesday, June 5, Chipotle is offering a free burrito, bol (a burrito without the tortilla), tacos or salad to anyone who brings in a non-perishable food item(s) to any Colorado Chipotle restaurant. All food items collected will benefit the Colorado Food Bank Association.
There are almost 500,000 Coloradans who are living in poverty. The Colorado Food Bank Association currently supplies Colorado families with nearly 93,000 meals a day, and is hoping to support additional families in need through this June 5 event at Chipotle.
