I was leaving work today in my S14 and I had the ICE COLD A/C blowing. It started raining and my windshield got foggy QUICK. So I put the A/C on defrost and moved the knob all the way to heat. I noticed nothing was happening so I selected the normal vent and the air wasnt hot at all.

So I said screw it and cleaned the windshield with my hand and put the A/C back all the way to cool..... But the cool air was nowhere to be found.

Well now the A/C is blowing out warm air whether its all the way on cool or all the way on hot.. so no cool air and no hot air... and theres a hissing sound coming from the dash.

Whats going on?

This is on a 98

Air mix door motor is jammed or malfunctioning, it's the lower motor on the driverside, just above the gas pedal.

The motor controls a linkage, uclip it from the rod and move it manually, but it may not stay in place unless you rig it closed/open somehow.

Yeah... I'd recommend you get that fixed...
