cams question

planning to get camshfts next week and was wondering if i should get cam gears with it also? goods and bads if i get the camshaft and not cams with it? planning to buy from tomei

hks gt-rs turbo
740 injectors
fpr
stage 2 act clutch

z32 maf

You don't need to get cams with it if you aren't planning to mess with timing. If you have an after market ecu that you can mess with timing and stuff... that is good enough. But in general no.
