I'm thinking about getting a decadron shot soon. My nose has been going crazygonuts since too long ago.

What are you all doing to cope with the shitness?

I used to take claritin but that made me pass out quick.

I'm sooooooooooo glad I don't have any allergies. I am told that something called Reactin works awesome if you do though.

I'm happy I'm only allergic to bee stings (especially cause I haven't been stung since I was 4)... But then again, I wish I wasn't allergic to anything... Oh and if you were wondering I'm not super allergic where I'll die, but it swells like hell...

Flonase and Claritin FTW!!!!!!!!!! I get the worst allergies of my life out here. So bad, that I can't see because my eyes are so puffy...and I can't stop coughing...it gets into my lungs and it SUCKS!

Alovert. Chewable, 24 hour relief over the counter. I only started gettin allergies in the last two years. And actually it was shortly after I got back from AZ.

I'm suffering, but taking Atarax or Chlor-tab works real good for the last 6 years. Talk to your doctor have he/she let you try different antihistamine, sometime you'll find the one that works and sometime you don't. I was lucky enough to work in a pharmacy and was able to try different medication to help my problem.

i had absolutely terrible allergies....with a sinus infection thrown in.... i got over that, and now i am covered in poison ivy-it's slowly creeping into my eyes as of now

Poisen Oak is one of the shittiest physical experiences you can go through, but just imagine how fucking glad you will be in a couple weeks. All these allergies just make me appreciate how fuckng good it feels to just be...normal. I can't ever take that for granted. Evar

How the hell did you get poison ivy all over yourself? IIRC, you could take a bath with Aveeno Oatmeal (something with the word Oat in it) which can be found at the local drug store, to relieve some of the symptoms. I got poison oak on my arm once, that shit was not fun.

i'm currently taking benadryl to hopefully stop the itch, then i'm using benadryl itch spray, aveeno itch lotion etc...

a good thing to do when you find that it is not longer spreading is to subject the rash with scalding hot water (start warm, then work your way up)... it's good for a couple hours of itch relief

i got it all over myself because i itched the hell out of what appeared to be a bug bite....the next day, whabam i'm head to toe in poison ivy... and i just found out that while i was pulling weeds in the front yard, i was basically picking poison ivy without gloves
