I think i saw them on Overboost.. IIRC

Overboost Store (http://www.overboost.com/obs)

Just enter your make and model and all that and it will give you a list for your car

You heard wrong, Tokiko Blues suck. If anything get some KYB AGX shocks for a little more $ and you will also get some adjustability in the shocks. The Blues go out VERY quickly.

If you have a s14 then wait awhile, they are making AGX shocks for the s14 now. Try shox.com or maybe Enjukuracing.com

i'm gonna have to go against you on that one mark. i have the blues, and as most people know, i run them HARD. they seem to be holding up just fine. outa curiosity, did you have a friend that used them and they blew soon? improper install? maybe he got a bad set? who knows, but i definitely wouldn't say they are crap.

Travis, I think you got a good set. &nbsp;I've had multiple friends with Hondas and Cavaliers ( <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'> ) and Pro-kit (not crazy drop) springs that had the blues blow in a matter of months with Colorado roads. &nbsp;I agree that it's a bit harsh to just flat out say they suck, but I'd rather spend a bit more money and not have to replace them in 6-12 months.

it's pretty funny when i hear them (KYB reps.) say that they are going to produce them for the S14... fact is that they already make them for the S14 (and S15), it's just that they are not available in the US (yet). In Japan they make the "Super Special for Street", which are adjustable 4/fr., 8/r.
i spoke w/ a friend from Japan, he did a some research and came to the conclusion that they are the same shock (damping rates/rebound rates, etc...). the only differences are that the AGX's are painted red and the Super Special's are silver. and seeing that the AGX's are made in Japan, it's just a matter of them (KYB) importing them to the US.

Well, The contact at KYB is Chuck Gonwa ([email protected] He should be able to give you a ETA on when the S14 AGX should be availible.

As for the Tokico's I have know alot of Z owners and one other rice boy that absolutly hated them. Maybe yours are fine, but we have dif experiances.

As for the AGX, even I wasent super impressed with them after 6-9 month of driving in Colorado, even though our road arent THAT bad. I had them with 5Zigen R-Rate springs with about 300 ft lbs progressive rate. For alot of people maybe the Blues are fine, but this all comes from a guy who wont buy spring and shock. Id rather have a nice coilover setup any day.

tnord is right though, he does test his suspensions limits and if he is saying there holding up well then maybe they have improved on quality.

could it be that they just happened to do a good job on our application? if you say they blew on Z's and the like, but i'm not having any problems with them, maybe we just got lucky.

shocks aren't exactly something you notice right away, they kinda progressively go bad. so mine could be getting weaker, i just haven't noticed. oh well, the car probably won't make it past the spring anyway.
