topic says it all.....i know they make them for the 91-98 but whats so different about the 91 that it wont fit my 89.  i bought my intake from nipponpower.com and now i want to buy the C.A.E and i sent them this e-mail.......

can someone help me out...how is it possible that it will fit the 91 but not my 89?  am i missing something?  help please

How can the cold air extension only work for the DOHC when the only diff in the 12v and 16v intakes is the positions and what not for the sensors? where the cold air extention is cliped on where the filter would be on the regular intake... and then the filter is obvioulsy bumped down to the bottom of the CAI.....

this is what i thought....thanks for the reassurance.....this is also a problem with locating a B&M short shifter as i have only seen them for the 91-98...dont ask me how they forget about the 89 and 90's....o well
