I went up to Indiana on tuesday and today(thursday) I was coming home and my cruise wouldn't kick on. The green light on the Cruise control on button came on but when I pressed the set cruise button nothing happened. I was thinking a fuse blew or something. Any thoughts???
btw: Where is the f****** fuse box. I've seen it before I'm almost positive, but I might be thinking of a friends car. Anyway where is the Cruise control fuse at??

What car do you have...S13 or S14? Anyways, there are usually 2 fuse boxes. One in the engine bay and one on the driverside footpanel. Check the fuses there. Replace any blown fuses, even if they are not for the crusie control. If that doesn't work, look at a FSM and read what it tells you.
If that doesn't work, who really needs cruise control anyway. Manual acceleration all the way baby...I want to be in control of my car at all times. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

O ya, next time I think this would go in the Tech section. Might get more responses there. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Sounds like a fuse problem, check the kick panel one, I think its in there... could be in the engine bay though, I havent had to deal with this in my 240 yet..... considering I dont have cc on my car <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

Have you checked to make sure that your clutch pedal is coming ALL the way up? Mine sticks at the top, so I have to pop it up with my toe. But now I don't have CC with my SR, so that's pointless. But you should check that out before you go rooting around for wires and fuses. Easy fix. Just flip the pedal with your toe and Voila! Krooooooze.

How does it waste gas and ruin your engine? Never heard that before.
If anything it should reduce gas consumption sincei t is more even than you right foot so there is less fluctuation in speed. Plus if I control it, I tend to be over zealous with the fast pedal when passing opportunities arise

Mine doesn't work either. I'll check my fuses. My light comes on but nothing happens.

I was driving home from work today and just tried it to see if it would work and it worked. I'm guessing that's what it was. My clutch is always not coming all the way up. anybody know how to fix that?

my fuses are fine, but the CC module goes "twang" when you flick it, and no lights work, at all.
so i just pulled all that shit out, figure i shed a couple pounds and free up some space.
it'll make my eventually ca swap that much easier.
