I'm confused. For one the seller didn't take the springs in the box from espelir, and put it in another box with peanuts. But no biggie nothing was damaged. However looking at the box on the side there's a picture of a red coil spring a lot of car manufactuers listed in yellow letters. Including ford and chrysler. I was expecting only imports to be listed.

I'm confused by that, and starting to wonder if the springs are fake. Or is everyone's box like that. Also the application (s14) is not printed on the box, but instead is on a small label with s14 and the part# printed on it. But looking at other auctions on ebay for espelir springs, this seems to be the norm.

However the springs are blue and have espelir marked on them in white lettering.

The ebay seller I got em from has excellent feedback too.

Also is it suppose to say on the side of the box "auto parts development since 1996"?

Just wondering what you guys can make of this.

Thanks

I bought a set of espelir springs about a year ago. Mine came in the original box, and the springs themselves were blue with white lettering.

Seller may have just stuffed them in a different box.

how about some pics? i don't know about espelir but my old Eibachs had a part number on the spring. see if you can find it and verify on their website. otherwise, try measuring the coil diameter and length and comparing it to other springs for the s14.

Nah after looking at some other ebay auctions, it seems espelir must use labels. Their similar in size to the skinny adress labels.

Just threw me off when I saw a list of other car manufactuers I guess they supposedly make parts for, and when I ran across for and chrysler I was like huh. They make parts for ford and chrysler?

I think everything is legit though. I found one part of the box I hadn't noticed before with japanese on it. It was the ups label that was covering it.
