OT-annoying ford commercials

i know you've all seen the new ford commercials with the "ceo" of ford claiming that his dream car is a convertible mustang with a v8 and a good sound system.  He also claims that the ford FOCUS is COMPARABLE to the Model-T(the FIRST mass produced vehicle made for the people, not the company).  I'm really tired of these commercials.  Had to vent and get others' opinions, make sure im not the only one.  I mean seriously...you know that bastard has a Ferrari or two, not a damn mustang.

I hate ford... I REALLY hate the focus. Dont get me wrong. Used to like them. Then they killed me. I Have a 2000 escort zx2. They killed the escort for the focus. The escort is a sports car comparable to the mustang everywhere else in the world but not here. And they said they were going to make the escort RS but istead they made the focus. Screw ford and screw there CEO with his stupid mustang. My turboed KA will own that bitch anyday. And when Im done with that Im gonna find a way to make my escort toast it too. You know why? Cause the escort looks better than the new mustangs. YA. Ok Im done

Did any of you see that commercial where Ford is advertising its trucks to Canada. It mentions "Canada is the birthplace of tough"... I doubt they show that in the US uh? Or maybe they do, but they substitute Canada for USA.

I personally hated the Dodge commercials, with the "Different" slogan...

The fucking song on those damn commercials were so annoying.  Don't get me wrong, Dodge is alright, but damn, can't they be more creative?

On other hand, Z33 commercials have been playing here in Japan like crazy, they show all Z models (except for roadster I think) starting from the S30 to the eventual Z33...  Its very cool, you can quite see the "evolution" it has come to in terms of styling.

thats funny when all this guy has to do to obtain his dream car is step onto a ford lot, or into a factory, and say " i would like this one please.....thankyou."  thats such a dumb commercial.....

I think they're complete bullshit too, but I try to not let them bother me. He can be happy with his lame dreams of owning a mustang, and I can be happy with my reality of owning a 1990 240sx (sorta my dream car...sorta). At least Im proud to own it.

Isnt the ceo british?? Why the hell would he want a mustange? Maybe a old school jag or mg I could somewhat understand, uptight and rich and all.....
I would take a rally edition focus being awd and all. Slap on that lancer body kit and that would be a nice daily driver. What the hell am I talking about... I would try and mod it to its fullest.. I am even trying to get my roommate girlfriend to mod her 4door corolla... im thinking some lowering spring, rota slipstream wheels, fit in the FF 4ag in there... Wow look at me babble... OO that ford commercial with it pulling the ice braker ship piss's me off cause they stole the idea from dodge(pulling the moon)..

I saw this Corvette commercial a few times a month or so back.... It was like a strike at the viper after.... Something along the lines of "Who needs 10 Cyc"
Then it showed the stats......

Prolly since Dodge goes on and on about there trucks....


Oh well... on a side note.... My friend works at a Toyota Dealer where i live, They got some release about the 2004 Lineup...

yeah you make a ton of sense...especially since ford doesn't own all of mazda. saying ford owns mazda would be like saying dsm (diamond star motors) owns mitsubishi, which btw is the largest company in the world. They are partners...

And by the way the RX-7 isn't being produced anywhere in the world anymore. So there is no reason it should be in the US of all places.

I thought the reason was because of poor sales and high prices... &nbsp;Just like the rest of the major Japanese Sports cars being discountined in the US... &nbsp;If I recall, the FD was priced at around $40,000 which was discountinued at 95... &nbsp;Same as the MK IV Supra, and Z32 which were stopped at 98 and 96... &nbsp;Speaking of discountined cars, 2002 will be the last year of the MK IV Supra... &nbsp;Been a long 10 years...

One commercial I hate is the one for the ford (F250?) where they say it has a "tremendous appetite for power" and procede to show a lightning bolt hitting the truck and the truck supposedly gobbling it up. Now, it's an interesting commercial, dont' get me wrong, but WTF is that supposed to mean? Does it need two alternators just to keep the engine running or something?

I hate ford they are supoedly bring back the gt400 or gt500 car which ever and it is going to be street legal with like 400+hp.Then pontiac is suppose to bring back the gto with like 400-500+hp and street leagal as well.domestic cars cant survive with out their true roots a mustank is no longer in my books a mustang the real mustang ended in the early to late 70's.

yea the 395 i think (name is unknown but it should be called the supra) is coming. &nbsp;first its gonna come with the v6 and then it gets the v8 later on but i think they should dump the v8 and make it a twin turbo v6. &nbsp;from the spy photo it looks like its gonna be fugly w/ a huge grill.... i dont think theyve released numbers on the power of the v8
