UPDATED PICS PAGE 2 and page 5!
This car was bought over the winter. When i purchased the car it was completely stripped (read: EVERYTHING) No interior, no chassis harness, no panels, very little sound deadening left, everything was gone. It was destined to become a drag car. The pervious owner removed the stock front rad support and front wheel arches, and welded in round bar.
There is still an enormous amount of work to be done, but it runs now..lol
Everything on the car has been replaced. Every bushing is poly, all suspension arms have been replaced or strenghtened. All of the engine bay chassis wiring was relocated under the dash including the 2 fuse boxes.
Nick from Omega Motive and Marshall from Street Dynamics both helped with the build. Nick designed and fabricated the intake manifold and Marshall Designed and fabricated the turbo manifold, and I/C piping. They helped me out a lot and were a big part of making this car a success.
In the following pics it still needs paint, aero fitted and installed, and a crap ton of small details worked out, but I thought I'd post the most recent progress. Enjoy.
P.S. Thanks for the pics Bryan.

hmm hopefully good gains.. lol The owner of OmegaMotive (Nick) is a very good friend of mine. Which is why I'm running his intake mani. I love it! it has velocity stacks in it, just an overall extremely well designed piece. here's a pic inside:

Cool build thanks for sharing pictures and some info.
- Why does the s14 dash only "kinda" fit, it actually looks pretty damn good from the pictures. Do you have any more details on this (too lazy to research on my own)
- I like the plug wire heat shield, but do you think that will heat soak from the manifold and melt your wires?
- I like how you rerouted the harness on the driver's side thru the heat shield. The MAF and CPS wires always look so stupid going across the front of the motor!
- What EMS and injectors are you using?

It fits fine now.. it "kinda fit" when i first test fit it. It took some massaging to get it right but, i think it turned out pretty well.

I honestly didn't take any other pics of it.
I wouldn't reccomend it for a daily driver simply because I removed all of the dash venting, I also had the trim a decent amount of junk underneath the dash. This car WILL be street legal, however, it won't see much street use, it'll mainly be used at VIR.
I'm sure with some more time and effort the dash vent could be retained, maybe by using a flexable hose, but i wasn't really interested in the vents working sicne it doesn't have a/c. Also, the door panels had to be modified aswell... just trial an error really.

Looks more like Vortex to me...
Or maybe Body-Magic, or Another Import Tuner, or Version 615170918274923...
Meh, who the fuck cares if it's real Vertex or not? Chances are its just going to get all fucked up anyways. Id rather replace an $80 wannabe Vertex bumper than an expensive ass real one. Something tells me he isnt building a show queen...

This about hits the nail on the head.
super gross. dzus fastener sideskirts is king of formula D crap tune.
RGs would look good with a spacer... and without vertex... and without crap hood.
kouki 180sx aero and the car looking clean would make the RGs look right.
dzus fasters are there for a purpose, not to copy some trend in formula d i was unaware of. I want the ability to be able to remove the side skirts quickly for track days, so I can jack the car up quickly and easily.
I'm not some bandwagon fanboi, if i was I'd do what you suggested, you know they same thing everyone else and there mom has done and run stock aero, cause thats so awesome. :ugh:
Fuck that, I built the car the way I wanted to build it, purposeful. It'll be used as a track car, not a show car, not a drift car, not a drag car.
I'm not going to run spacers, because I'm not going to run a smaller tire than whats on there. If anything I'd run a bigger tire, esp. in the rear. I'm all about wheel fitment, if you've seen any of my pervious cars you'd realize this.. But, this car is serving a purpose, one where smaller tires are a limiting factor on performance.
Anyway, thanks for the input :-)

No offense but dont let chris' low posts fool you, hes the godfather of nissans around the Mid Atlantic area and def. not a bandwagon hopper or import tuner kid. Everyone who knows anything about nissans knows chris or of his work around here. And knowing chris this car is going to be everything he says it is.
You are welcome to your opinion of his car though.

Dzus fasteners suck, and look like 1in holes in the body kit, which is why it looks like dick.
use zipties or screws like the rest of the planet, if you're taking your sideskirts off and on to work on your car you need to get rid of that truck jack your using.
I'm not some bandwagon fanboi, if i was I'd do what you suggested, you know they same thing everyone else and there mom has done and run stock aero, cause thats so awesome. :ugh:
Am I not looking at a picture of a white car with ebay Vertex? because I am looking at a paragraph about being original.
Fuck that, I built the car the way I wanted to build it, purposeful
again, I'm seeing a car with a body kit and super ghetto Bomex wanna be angry eye thing on it... and then seeing a speil about purpose.
put the popups back in and the stock hood. if you cleaned up your car so everything didn't look so trashy it would probably look like a white yashio car and subsequently not like total ass.

No, I don't know why your so concerned, but i personally don't like stock aero, and the reason i chose vertex, is because it's more agressive than stock aero but not as agressive as works 9 or Uras or whatever.
again, I'm seeing a car with a body kit and super ghetto Bomex wanna be angry eye thing on it... and then seeing a speil about purpose.
And how is it not purposeful? I'm not sure if you noticed, but the pop up headlights don't "bolt on" to the car anymore.. lol so yes, I worked with what i had, the headlights on the car serve a purpose, the light up shit. ;-)
if you cleaned up your car so everything didn't look so trashy it would probably look like a white yashio car and subsequently not like total ass.
I think you should read the title of this thread. ALOMOST COMPLETED. as in it's not finished yet. Clam down and let me finish the car before you get your mcrussellpants in a jam.
chmercer: The car is in the process of getting caged, it will have a fstb before it's tracked. But just to clarify, the current front is stronger than stock.

Ehh its out the game for a min lol. Probably gonna rebuild the transmission...it's dead. Yeah I know....5spd conversion lol...but I'd rather keep it auto. Wouldn't mine maybe getting another 240 down the road as a 2nd car, and use this as a daily. Other then that, how it looks in my sig is how it still looks now. Oh check this out...you remember the led koukis? Well the 1st set I got from Aspec logan, I accidently cracked the center garnish...but sold the tails. Then I bought another set on ebay, only to get rear ended last month. Basically the impact broke the sealant loose, and left a gap in the housing of the garnish and tails, and water would get in and stay for a long time. So now I don't know if I want another set or what, but focused on just getting back on the road for now.
