Well, i got home from the auto-parts store and figured, since it was such a nice day out, and I planned on leaving again soon, that I would leave my windows down.

The sky was blue, the birds were chirping, the bees were buzzing, not a cloud in the sky.

I get inside, sit down for lunch and my mom yells, "Your windows are down!!!" I say, "So?" She says "Its raining!"

I run outside, and its so rainy that I can't see 2 feet in front of me. I get to my car, there is a puddle 3" deep on my seats (good thing for leather...or I'd have a wet ass for days.) I jump in, roll up the windows and start sopping up the water and desperately spraying armor-all and Tannery Oil all over the place (yes, im anal about my interior..) No sooner had I gotten the first seat done, the rain stops, the sky clears up, birds chirp etc etc...

I hate this state with a passion....

Needed to vent...I dont do it much so thanks for understanding

i plan on moving to the south because i hate the cold fall/winter in st. louis, but i hate rain as well. if i moved to florida i'd go insane if i washed my car, then it rained for 5 minutes, then blue skies like nothin happened, but i'm left with a dirty car.

Everyone should just move to California.... I am. Washington blows a fat cock when it comes to rain, so I just dont wash my car for long periods at a time. Not like my car shows dirt all that well anyways.

yea i live in fl too and those sudden end of the world rain showers are a real biatch. its weird cause for 7mon out of the year theres not really that much rain...we even get droughts and shit, and then june rolls its fat rainy head around and every day theres an end of the world shower that can either lasts the whole f**in day or 2min. ive left my car windows open once... took 3 days of moisture trapping bucket things (looks like a bucket of rice and it soaks up humidity) and wet vacume sucking to get it back to normal...stank for a few days too
