I have a creative zen vision m. I drive a few cars and use my mp3 player for work, travel, bedtime music, etc. Basically it is always with me.

I want to listen to my player in my vehicles. Which way of transfering the music through my car speakers sounds best?

1. FM transmitter that plugs directly to my mp3 player and transmites through radio waves to my car radio.

2. Plug an adapter wire to the headphone jack out on mp3 player, and into the aux. in on the car radio.

Are all fm transmiters equal? Save and buy the 40 dollar one or cough up the 90 bucks?

the FM Transmitter sucks ass... Best way to hook up your Mp3 Player would be hardwire way.

Sadly my stock S2000 deck doesn't have to plug in my Ipod... I'll be getting a AF deck soon to support mp3 player hookups

Do all the vehicles you drive have an aux input? if they do, go with the cable.

You will lose a bit of the audio quality using a modulator, but mp3's usually are at a lower bit rate anyway. The mp3's will be fm quality-better than nothing. I have xm and swap between a few differnt cars, and i just use the fm mod. Works fine

Hmmm, let's think about this. Download lots of music in nice clear digital format, then play it back in shity FM quality. I don't think so.

Hardwire > FM Transmitter

No contest

Ok. thanks for the imput guys!!!

Keep in mind, its not "hardwired" through the main port. I'm simply talking about using a aux. cable to go from the players headphone jack to an "input" line on the radio...

We are all talking about the same thing, right?
