Question about Cat

Hi

ive just Stripped down all my exhaust pipe on my 89 240sx
and i want to know if my cat is gone .. how can i check that ?

ive been looking trought it and i see light on the other side its doesnt look clogged at all ..
anyway any tips would be appreciated

Give it a light tap with a balled fist. &nbsp;If you hear anything rattling inside, this usually means the guts of it have come apart. &nbsp;This is the really the only way to test it I think. &nbsp;When a cat goes though, you can tell from the inside of the car. &nbsp;It will create a large amount of back pressure on your engine, which will take away power from the car.
