I currently live in SoCal, just moved from up north and I returned home this weekend to fix my car with the intention of driving it down. When I got here I totally forgot that the reg is expired, and of course DMV will be closed until Tuesday, and I have to leave tomorrow. Is there anyway I can get a temporary tag so I can get my car down south?

lol, i would say grab registration off another vehicle. (yes, borrow it) ha. also if a cop is looking at your registration he is going to pull you over anyways. just keep him on the "i'm sorry bout the registration" thinkin in the back your head no need to pop the hood. thats my bloody 2 cents

Texas if you get a ticket for that you have 10 days to fix it before you have to pay the fine.

I think I heard that you can do registration stuff at AAA places. Don't know for sure though.

Don't know if their opened right now though.

They're not open today, I tried to go myself to register one of my cars and to get an moving permit.

And yes, you can do registration stuffs AAA, I myself always do it there, and have got probably more than 20 moving permits in the last two years from them.

Just go for it. if anything you'll just get a fix it ticket. Just tell them the your story and they'll be fine.

I only recently got a parking ticket for not have my tab's up to date. I lost my tab since I got it. Bad luck with stickies. Basically I've been running around with my tabs for 10 months.

So I say just go for it.

I wouldnt drive. I am trying NOT to drive this weekend. Lots of drunks on the road. Lots of cops, pulling EVERYONE over. Its not even worth the headache or the fine.
