need help car running weird

OK so i just got done putting in my 3rd KA. I turn it on and it doesn't idle at all. it would try but fail. so then i unplugg the MAF (n60) and it would idle perfectly at 1000. So i go through all the vacumm lines 4 times and everything is fine. So i try to run it with the maf off and it just hits like a cut at 2000 rpm. with it one it just doesn't go anywhere. So -can you guy advise me on anything before i have to remove the intake manifold and reinstall it again. here are my mods

Ok, I'm pretty much a noob, but I was watching one of my friend's bmw buddies tune his car, and when he screwed AF mix and made it too lean... It didn't idle at all, I mean he was able to easily reset it but the car starting making weird noises and really started... Heaving I guess.

I'm thinking it might be mafs and or iacv.

yeah check the iacv wiring and also the physical condition of it. if the plunger is stuck closed the car wont idle. you will have to pull it off to check this though wich sucks. when you have it off clean it as good as you can and put it back on and try it.

ive checked for the wiring and everything is good. could it be the maf? I'm going to borrow my friends stock one to see if that would help. And isnthere any way that my ecu could've reflashed? because i know 3000gt's do that when the batt. is unplugged for awhile. and mine was unplugged for a few weeks.
