Volk Racing GT-U & Rays Lug Nuts

I just bought a set of rays lug nuts (M12x1.25).

and I can't fit them on my Volk Racing GT-U wheels (front wheels = Type A offset so it clears big brakes, and the rear wheels are Type B offset).

They just don't slide into the bolt hole at all. The small lip on the bottom of the lug nut is too big.

What's the deal?

uhh try getting different lugnuts...

I will have to. But I just don't understand why they don't fit considering both of those products are made by the same company. Also, I didn't see any other type of lug nuts that they have other than the extended ones (which are the same deal as mine, but longer).

its retarded how much shit in the car industry they dont really research, they just kinda throw it together. how amazing it would be if everything just bolted right together.
