sr upgrade questions

redtop recently blew headgasket and needs rings, so while the motor is out and apart thinking about doing some upgrades. im pretty much set on the Brian Crower cam set, my questions are should i go with a thicker headgasket and if so how much. im also thinking about a turbo upgrade but dont wanna spend over 1k, so im thinking about getting a used s14 t28. if i do this will i have to modify ic piping (have fmic) and or intake piping and oil or coolant lines??? if i do all this will i need bigger injectors and a safc2?? it just seems like if i do one thing something else needs to be upgraded also.

so basically what im asking is what upgrades should i get for a mild engine build??

what other turbos are you considering, i mean rather than the t28?

if its a mild engine build....
use an oem engine gasket set..

get your t28. fmic. and and safc2. and you're ok.
probably want to add a downpipe and full exhaust.

550cc injectors
rom tune
t25 will hold up to 21psi (not sure how long tho haha)

that should keep ya under 1k.. the rom tune will probably be the most expensive

already have fmic and already have full 3 inch exhaust, so is this a no to a T28 and a no to a thicker headgasket if so why?? not questioning you all im just wondering, im not really considering anything else because of price unless its a used one in good condition

i think the reason people offered OEM head gasket is because of your price range.. i think this is the same reason to not getting a t28...personally if your gonna upgrade get atleast a t28 s15 BB turbo

but do what i said and you will be super happy! my buddy is running the same set up and the car is amazing!
